Description :
An absolutely stunning Seth Thomas Adamantine tabletop/fireplace mantel clock in good working condition. Seth Thomas Adamantine clocks were popular from 1885 to 1917, featuring cases with a unique celluloid veneer called Adamantine, developed by the Celluloid Manufacturing Company and licensed by Seth Thomas in 1881. These "Black Mantel Clocks" came in various patterns, simulating marble or wood grain, and were sold as affordable alternatives to expensive French clocks. Dimensions: 16L x 6W x 10H
